Saint Andrew the Apostle for Kids
Updated: 7 days ago
Meet Saint Andrew the Apostle, the fisherman from Galilee who followed Jesus and helped others find Him too. In this gentle Catholic story for kids, children will learn how Andrew listened to John the Baptist, met Jesus, brought his brother Simon Peter to the Messiah, left his nets to become a “fisher of men,” offered a boy’s five loaves and two fish to Jesus, and stayed faithful as an apostle and martyr. Saint Andrew teaches us that we do not have to be famous to serve God well. We can listen for Jesus, follow when He calls, bring what we have to Him, and help others come to Him too. Perfect for Catholic families, parish faith formation, homeschool, Sunday school, and children learning about the Apostles, the saints, and the life of Jesus. “Come and see.”
After watching, families and catechists can talk about one moment that stood out, what it shows about following Jesus, and one small way to put that lesson into practice this week.
