In a small house in York, St. Margaret Clitherow opened her door to priests who needed shelter and Catholic families who longed for the Mass. Her hospitality became an act of courage—and a witness to her love for Jesus. Room for One More tells the story of the saint known as the Pearl of York, helping children understand that courage does not mean never feeling afraid. It means choosing what is right and trusting Jesus, even when we are frightened. This animated Catholic saint story invites children and families to reflect on faith, the gift of the Mass, and the small ways we can welcome and care for others today. Some brief conversations and private prayers are dramatized. Margaret’s martyrdom is treated gently, without graphic imagery. St. Margaret Clitherow, pray for us!

After watching, families and catechists can talk about one moment that stood out, what it shows about following Jesus, and one small way to put that lesson into practice this week.
