Saint Carlo Acutis for Kids | The Eucharist Is My Highway to Heaven

Sep 4, 2025
2 min read

Carlo Acutis wore sneakers, enjoyed soccer and video games, and loved Jesus in the Eucharist. This illustrated Catholic saint story for children follows his prayer, his creative computer work, and the everyday kindness he showed to people who felt left out.

Carlo used his computer skills to share information about Eucharistic miracles. His story invites children to ask how their own gifts can help someone else, and how time with Jesus can shape ordinary choices.

Available free on YouTube since September 4, 2025. Watch the complete video above. Runtime: approximately 4 minutes, including the closing theme song. Suggested ages: approximately 7–11.

Talk about it together

How did Carlo spend time with Jesus?

How did he use his computer skills to share his faith?

What did he do for people who felt lonely or left out?

What gift could you use kindly this week?

Try it: my gift, someone's need

On a small paper card, draw or write one gift you enjoy. Beside it, name a person or group it could help. With a trusted adult, choose one small action: welcome someone into a game, make a kind card, listen carefully, or help with a task. You do not need computer skills to follow Carlo's example.

A note for parents and teachers

The story includes a brief passage about Carlo's illness and death at approximately 1:53–2:14. Preview it for younger or sensitive children. Explain simply that illness is not a punishment, and encourage children to seek a trusted adult's help with worries or bullying.

This is an illustrated retelling with simplified scene-setting. Carlo's devotion points toward Jesus, truly present in the Eucharist. The video was released before his canonization on September 7, 2025; this resource page uses his current title, Saint Carlo Acutis.

Pray together

Jesus, draw us close to you. Help us use our gifts to welcome and serve others. Saint Carlo, pray for us. Amen.
