The Last Supper for Kids | Holy Thursday and the Eucharist
Jesus kneels to wash his disciples' feet, then gives himself in the bread and cup of the Last Supper. This Holy Thursday reflection holds humble service and the gift of the Eucharist together.
The free resources help children recall these Gospel moments and understand Christ's real presence. A paper towel activity turns the lesson about service into an ordinary, safe act of help at home or school.

Talk about it together
What surprising act of service did Jesus do?
What did Jesus give at the table?
How do service and the Eucharist belong together?
What humble service can you offer?
A towel of service
Draw a towel on paper. Across it write a safe service task you can offer. Beside it draw a chalice and bread as classroom symbols of the Eucharist. Explain that the drawing is a reminder, not consecration. Share how Jesus' gift calls us to practical love.
A note for parents and teachers
The video brings together John 13's foot washing and the institution of the Eucharist from the other Gospel accounts. John 6 language is theological context, not a verbatim Last Supper quotation. Do not simulate consecration or sacramental reception in class.
Pray together
Jesus, thank you for serving us and giving yourself in the Eucharist. Teach us to love through humble care. Amen.
